Queen Anne’s Lace always reminds of the carefree joys of summer. I frequently walk a coastal path that takes me by fields of Queen Anne’s lace and other wildflowers swaying in the wind, and I like to think they enjoy their coastal views as much as I do. (The exact inspiration spot for this is Crescent Beach State Park, looking out to Richmond Island.)
