If you follow my Instagram stories, you know I see a lot of sunrises over Casco Bay. I'm fortunate enough to se the sunrise from the warmth of our living room window, at least in the winter when the neighbors' trees aren't filled in. Every once in a while I'm inspired to paint a sunrise, and this is my latest. Rich layering and complementary colors create a dynamic sky and water reflections. The close-up photo highlights the soothing energy around the rising sun.
