36” x 48,” acrylic on canvas
In Maine (and most of New England), the forsythia bloom that heralds the arrival of spring. For the last seven or eight years, I've created at least one forsythia painting in celebration of the end of another long winter.
This painting is on a 1 1/2” deep museum birch panel, providing a polished, contemporary look that does not require framing. (See side angle shot from a smaller painting in my blueberry barren series, Birches by the Barrens, 24” x 24”).
Each original painting is signed on the reverse, preserving the integrity of the composition while providing collectors with a lasting mark of authenticity.
Pricing includes free shipping within the continental US.
For all large paintings, I offer free delivery in the Boston and Portland/southern Maine area. You can see how the painting would look in your home, and I’ll help you hang the painting (if you’d like me to). If you aren’t happy with the painting for any reason, after seeing it in person, I will offer a full refund.
