24” x 12,” encaustic on panel with 23K gold leaf

I added multiple sheets of 23K gold leaf to my latest poppy painting, and just love how it shimmers! There’s also some shimmer from R&F iridescent gold R&F oil stick and encaustic paint on the painting itself, and some gold acrylic paint on the sides of the painting.)
