This small painting packs a lot of visual power. It’s a celebration of orange and shimmery gold. The gold band is gold encaustic paint (melted beeswax and resin, with metallic pigment mixed in) with inlays of specks of gold, copper and bronze leaf. It’s a bold, sparkly one!!
