Every day brings different sunrise colors, cloud formations, and level of wave activity – no two sunrises are ever the same. One morning the sky was filled with absolutely amazing peach hues, and I just had to paint it!!

Peach is the hot new color for 2024! Pantone just announced that its Color of the Year is Peach Fuzz. Pantone says peach fuzz “echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection…a color radiant with warmth”. This original painting is from my ongoing series of sunrise paintings. I watch the sun come up over Casco Bay in Maine every morning (when we aren’t fogged in!) Each day brings a striking, new color palette. This painting is 36” x 18".
